Cookie Policy

Effective: May 10, 2026  ·  Last updated: May 10, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar tracking technologies are used by SavedHub (“we”, “our”, “us”) when you visit savedhub.io(the “Service”), why we use them, and the choices you have. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, tablet, or phone) when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognise your device on subsequent visits, remember your preferences, and gather analytical data about how you use the site.

Cookies are set either by the website you are visiting (“first-party cookies”) or by third parties whose content appears on that page (“third-party cookies”). Cookies can be “persistent” (remain on your device until they expire or you delete them) or “session” cookies (deleted when you close your browser).

2. How We Use Cookies

SavedHub uses cookies to:

  • Keep you securely signed in across page navigations.
  • Protect against cross-site request forgery (CSRF) attacks.
  • Remember your UI preferences so you don’t have to reset them on every visit.
  • Understand how visitors use our Service through aggregated, anonymised analytics.
  • Serve relevant advertisements via Google AdSense (where you have consented).

5. Third-Party & Advertising Cookies

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google may use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to collect information about your visits to our Service and other websites in order to provide targeted advertisements.

Google’s advertising cookies enable:

  • Personalised ads — ads tailored to your interests based on your browsing history.
  • Frequency capping — limiting how often the same ad is shown to you.
  • Conversion tracking — measuring whether an ad click leads to a specific action.
  • Remarketing — showing SavedHub ads to users who have previously visited our site.

Google’s use of these cookies is governed by its Privacy Policy. We have no direct control over the cookies set by Google AdSense. You can review and manage Google’s advertising cookies via Google’s Ads Settings.

SavedHub participates in the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF) for handling advertising consent in the EEA and UK. Our cookie banner implements TCF-compliant consent signals passed to Google AdSense.

6. Similar Technologies

In addition to cookies, we may use:

  • Local Storage / Session Storage— browser storage APIs used to cache UI state (e.g., the last workspace you visited, draft link title). This data stays on your device and is not sent to our servers on every request. You can clear it via your browser’s developer tools.
  • Pixel tags / Web beacons — tiny transparent images embedded in ad creative by Google AdSense to count impressions and measure ad performance. They do not store data on your device.
  • Server-side logs — every HTTP request to our servers generates a log entry containing your IP address, user-agent, and requested URL. These are not cookies but serve a similar auditing function. Logs are retained for 90 days.

8. Managing & Opting Out

You have several options to manage cookies:

Cookie Preference Centre

Click “Cookie Preferences” in the footer of any page on SavedHub to review and change your consent choices at any time.

Google Ad Personalisation

Visit google.com/settings/ads to manage personalised advertising across Google’s network.

Industry Opt-Out Tools

Google Analytics Opt-Out

Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to prevent your data from being sent to Google Analytics across all websites.

9. Browser-Level Controls

Most browsers allow you to refuse new cookies, delete existing cookies, or be warned before a cookie is stored. Instructions for the most common browsers:

  • Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Mozilla Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Apple Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Microsoft Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data
  • Opera: Settings → Advanced → Privacy & security → Site Settings → Cookies

Browser settings control all cookies on your device, not just those from SavedHub.

When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where required, re-display the cookie consent banner to collect fresh consent.

We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed about how we use cookies.
