We may monitor usage to detect and prevent abuse. Violations may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.
6. Your Content
6.1 Ownership
You retain all intellectual property rights in the content you submit to the Service (“User Content”), including URLs, notes, tags, and profile data. SavedHub does not claim ownership of your User Content.
6.2 Licence to SavedHub
By submitting User Content, you grant SavedHub a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to store, reproduce, process (including via AI), and display your User Content solely as necessary to provide and improve the Service. This licence terminates when you delete the content or your account.
6.3 Your Responsibility
You are solely responsible for your User Content. You represent and warrant that: (a) you own or have the necessary rights to submit the content; (b) the content does not violate any third-party rights; and (c) the content complies with these Terms and applicable law.
6.4 Content Removal
We reserve the right (but not the obligation) to remove any User Content that we determine, in our sole discretion, violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable. We will endeavour to notify you before removal unless doing so would cause harm or is not legally permissible.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of SavedHub and its licensors. The SavedHub name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of SavedHub. You may not use our trademarks without our prior written consent.
Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you. The licence granted to you is limited to the right to access and use the Service as described herein.
7.1 Copyright Complaints (DMCA)
If you believe that content on the Service infringes your copyright, please send a notice to legal@savedhub.io with the subject line “DMCA Notice”, including: (a) identification of the copyrighted work; (b) identification of the infringing material and its location on the Service; (c) your contact information; (d) a statement of good faith belief; (e) a statement of accuracy and authority; and (f) your electronic or physical signature.
8. Subscriptions & Payments
SavedHub may offer free and paid plans. Where a paid subscription is available:
- Billing — fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis and are non-refundable except as required by law or as expressly stated in a refund policy.
- Upgrades / Downgrades — changes take effect at the next billing cycle.
- Cancellation — you may cancel your subscription at any time via account settings. Access continues until the end of the paid period.
- Price changes — we will give at least 30 days’ notice before changing subscription prices. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
- Taxes — prices are exclusive of applicable taxes (GST, VAT, sales tax). You are responsible for paying all applicable taxes.
- Failed payments — if payment fails, we may suspend your access to paid features until payment is resolved.
Where the Service is currently free, we may introduce paid plans in the future with appropriate notice.
9. Workspaces & Collaboration
SavedHub allows you to create or join collaborative workspaces. Within a workspace:
- Roles — workspace members may be assigned roles (Admin, Editor, Viewer) that determine what actions they can perform. The workspace creator is the initial Admin.
- Admin responsibility — workspace Admins are responsible for managing membership, roles, and ensuring compliance with these Terms within their workspace.
- Content visibility — links saved within a workspace are visible to all workspace members according to the permissions model. Do not save confidential or sensitive information in workspaces shared with untrusted parties.
- Removal — Admins may remove members or delete the workspace at any time. Deleted workspaces and their content are permanently removed after a 30-day grace period.
10. Third-Party Services & Links
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or integrate with third-party services. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of those sites or services. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
SavedHub fetches metadata (title, description, Open Graph image) from URLs you save. We are not responsible for the accuracy of that metadata or the content of third-party websites. Saving a URL to SavedHub does not constitute endorsement of that URL’s content by us.
11. Disclaimers & Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.
In plain language:
- We do not guarantee the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, or free of bugs.
- AI-generated summaries, tags, and categories are provided for convenience and may be inaccurate. Always verify important information independently.
- We do not guarantee that the Service will meet your specific requirements.
- We are not responsible for the content of URLs or third-party websites that you save.
Some jurisdictions do not allow disclaimers of implied warranties, so some of the above may not apply to you.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SAVEDHUB AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
In any event, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising from or relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid to SavedHub in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 100.
Some jurisdictions (including consumer-protection laws in the EU and India) do not permit certain limitations of liability. In those jurisdictions, liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
13. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SavedHub and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your User Content; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any third-party rights.
We reserve the right to assume exclusive defence and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, in which case you agree to cooperate with our defence.
14. Termination
14.1 By You
You may delete your account at any time via Settings. Upon deletion, your profile and saved links will be permanently removed within 30 days, subject to our data retention obligations.
14.2 By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately and without notice if we determine that you have violated these Terms, our policies, or applicable law. We may also terminate the Service generally upon reasonable notice.
14.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination: (a) your right to use the Service ceases immediately; (b) we may delete your data subject to our retention policy; and (c) provisions that by their nature should survive (including Sections 6, 7, 11, 12, 13, 15) will continue in effect.
15. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict- of-law principles.
15.1 Informal Resolution
Before filing a formal dispute, you agree to contact us at legal@savedhub.io and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will try to resolve it within 30 days.
15.2 Arbitration
If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration under the rules of the Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The arbitration shall be conducted in English, and the seat of arbitration shall be India. Each party bears its own costs unless the arbitrator orders otherwise.
15.3 EU / UK Users
Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights as a consumer in the EEA or UK. EU users may also use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
15.4 Class Action Waiver
To the extent permitted by law, you waive the right to participate in any class-action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against SavedHub.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email and/or via a prominent in-app notice at least 14 days before the new Terms take effect. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of those Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the Service and delete your account before the effective date.
17. Miscellaneous
- Entire Agreement — these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Code of Conduct, constitute the entire agreement between you and SavedHub regarding the Service.
- Severability — if any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
- Waiver — failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right.
- Assignment — you may not assign your rights under these Terms. We may assign ours without restriction.
- Force Majeure — we are not liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
- Language — these Terms are written in English. Any translations are for convenience only; the English version prevails.
